I’ve mentioned before how you can get free publicity for yourself by giving testimonials for other people services and products, but don’t overlook the search engine optimization (SEO) value of those inbound links as well.
Here’s a testimonial I gave to my friend Dan Janal at PRleads. He first published it months ago, and today it reappeared in his parent company’s blog as part of a compilation of testimonials about ProfNet (scroll down more than half way to see my blurb).
Since the Profnet blog has a good Alexa ranking (in the 7000s, meaning that it’s in the top 8,000 websites visited on the internet), I know that it’s a popular site and that inbound links originating from this site will help my own site increase in value for the search engines.
So, there you go. A little SEO with your publicity today!
